Team Pilipinas celebrated their humble victory under the chilly weather inside the WorldSkills Village. Despite the many years of non-participation in the international skills tilt, the PH Team bagged two Medallions for Excellence.
Joeminel Cutcharo is recognized for his excellence in Automobile Technology while Ramon Bong Bautista got the same recognition for Graphic Design Technology. Medallion for Excellence is awarded to competitors for meeting international standards in skill demonstrations.
Cutcharo was also picked for Best of Nation Award for getting the highest score among the competitors from the Philippines.
All competitors were also given the Champion pins.
