National Certificate Validation
TESDA is warning the public against fake National Certificates (NC) being sold online because NCs are only issued by its offices. The agency has also a Registry of Certified Workers available online so one can check the pool of certified workers for certain occupations nationwide. It can be browsed on the TESDA official Website.
How to verify the TESDA National Certificate (NC) or Certificate of Competency (COC)
1. Three important data required in verifying the NC which can be seen in the NC:
Sample of National Certificate or NC

Name of the NC holder

Certificate Number
-
Date Issued
2. Refer to the date in the “Issued on”, if the year is in 2016 or earlier click “2016 Issuance and Earlier” or if the year is in 2017 or onwards then click “2017 Onwards Issuance”
