Cagayan de Oro City Good News! The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA-10) is holding a series of competency assessment and certification across the region scheduled May 12, 2014 up to October 24, 2014.

 

The National TVET Competency Assessment and Certification (NATCAC) is a synchronized conduct of competency assessment and certification in identified key qualifications. It will be offered FREE OF CHARGE funded by the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP). This is certainly an avenue that provides opportunity to those who wanted to upgrade their level of skills competency and ensure better delivery of services.

 

NATCAC Program targets to benefit 3,585 individuals in Region X coming from the ranks of trainers of public and private Technical Vocational Institutions, including TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs), Local Government Units (LGUs), and other government agencies providing TVET programs and private enterprises with registered TVET programs, DepEd trainers, Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) drivers, Workers/Industry Practitioners/Professional/Career shifters who want to undergo competency assessment, Returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)/Filipino Expatriates with relevant experience who want to undergo competency assessment and Industry practitioners who are prospective competency assessors.

 

The qualifications offered in this program are based on the market demand per province. Below is the scheduled date of assessment per sector:

 

 

May 12 – 23, 2014 (Automotive, Land Transport and HVAC)

July 14 – 25, 2014 (Construction and Metals and Engineering)

August 11 – 22, 2014 (Tourism, Electronics and ICT)

October 13 – 24, 2014 (Agri-Fishery/Food Processing and Health, Social &      

                                            Other Community Development Services)
